Julia Winter is a visionary entrepreneur, celebrated jewelry designer, and one of the founding members of The Phoenix Women’s Collective. As the creative force behind Jewel Ya, she has spent over two decades crafting timeless, versatile jewelry that resonates with women seeking elegance and everyday wearability. Julia’s journey from corporate executive to creative entrepreneur is a testament to her courage, adaptability, and deep commitment to community After earning degrees from both Arizona State University and the University of Arizona, Julia began her career in technology sales and management. However, following the birth of her second son, she sought a more fulfilling path that would allow her to balance family life with her creative passions. In 2003, she took a leap of faith and launched Jewel Ya from her dining room table, hosting trunk shows and cultivating personal relationships with clients. Jewel Ya quickly gained a loyal following for its signature designs, which blend 14k gold-filled and sterling silver metals with freshwater pearls, gemstones, and hand-hammered textures. Julia’s pieces are known for their mix-and-match versatility, allowing customers to layer, stack, and personalize their jewelry to suit any occasion. Her commitment to quality and timeless style has made Jewel Ya a staple in the wardrobes of women across the Valley and beyond. As the brand evolved, Julia embraced digital transformation, expanding Jewel Ya’s reach through an online boutique and wholesale partnerships, including placements in Sky Harbor Airport boutiques. She also leveraged email marketing and social media to maintain a direct line of communication with her customers, fostering a sense of community around the brand. shoutoutarizona.com+1Apple Podcasts+1Apple Podcasts Beyond her business acumen, Julia is deeply committed to philanthropy and community engagement.
